Our Mission

We want to see lives transformed by Jesus Christ.

A family of nearly 250 congregations across the country, the Brethren in Christ U.S. (BIC U.S.) desires that all people would experience the transforming love, grace, and freedom found in Jesus.

We seek to follow Jesus' example — by loving our neighbor, compassionately serving those in need, and bearing witness to God's Kingdom on the earth. Whether in our local communities or around the world, we dedicate our lives to joining God in the mission of reconciliation.

About Us:

The Brethren in Christ Foundation (BICF) provides financial services to various Brethren in Christ denominational entities, including the maintenance of a fund (the "Brotherhood Loan Fund") to provide financing for the acquisition, construction and remodeling of Brethren in Christ churches, parsonages and other church-related projects, as well as to provide a source of funds for ministers for residential loans.

The Foundation provides certain pooled investment opportunities for eligible church organizations.

The Foundation also provides certain other financial services, including administration of certain deferred giving programs and consultation thereon, for the Brethren in Christ denomination and related church entities.
